Lanzarote is an oasis of infinite beauty, where playing golf becomes a one-of-a-kind experience. Therefore, from Lanzarote Golf we have the utmost respect for its landscape and sustainability is one of the pillars of our action. We work every day to make improvements to the golf course that respect the vegetation and fauna that surrounds us and optimize existing resources.
Buggies
We have new electric buggies, with 0 polluting gas emissions. They do not use any type of fuel, but simply charge their lithium batteries, which allows us to have better energy efficiency.
Our lake
Looking ahead to 2023, we are working on the recovery of the lake, with the objective of optimizing water resources in the field through a new return pump to bring water to the irrigation cistern. This action will also involve the recovery of migratory birds in the area.
Projects
Sustainability is a project for the future. That is why we have an investment plan for the creation of a mini-park of photovoltaic panels, or projects such as the planting of a 0 km orchard, the creation of a nursery for reforestation of the field with native plants, or an area for the collection of different fertilizers and topsoil, among other issues.
